SEO audit and second opinion

Is your SEO company actually doing the work?

A deep, evidence-based audit of your website, or of the SEO service you are already paying for. Every finding verifiable from public URLs, so nobody can argue with it. Not even them.

$497 flat. Fully credited toward any plan or build if you hire us.

Sound familiar?

Six signs you are paying for SEO that is not happening.

Most owners cannot tell whether their SEO vendor is working or coasting, and vendors know it. The evidence, it turns out, is public. You just need someone to go collect it.

You pay a monthly SEO bill and could not name three things they did last month

The reports are full of charts, but calls and forms have not moved in a year

You were promised a dashboard you have never actually logged into

Meetings stopped happening, and questions get answered with jargon

They "did keyword research", but nobody can show you the document

The contract auto-renews soon and you are not sure it earned it

Public evidence only

An audit nobody can argue with.

We never need your passwords or your vendor's cooperation. Everything is gathered from sources anyone can check: your live site, your own sitemap's timestamps, Google's public testing tools, and the Internet Archive's history of your pages. If a problem has been sitting there for two years of paid “ongoing optimization”, the archive proves it.

And we play it straight: what your vendor did deliver gets acknowledged in writing, what they did not gets documented with dates, and what cannot be verified from outside becomes a short list of deliverables to demand. You end up knowing, instead of wondering.

  • Speed and mobile scores, run on Google’s own public tools so anyone can reproduce them
  • Every image checked for the metadata work most vendors bill for and skip
  • Placeholder text, broken links, and template bugs that active SEO work would have caught
  • Your sitemap’s own timestamps, which show exactly when each page was last touched
  • Internet Archive snapshots that prove how long each problem has been sitting there
  • Author credentials and trust signals Google requires on health, legal, and money topics
  • Structured data: what is real optimization versus what a plugin ships by default
  • Redirects, indexing, and the technical basics that quietly decide your rankings

How it works

Scan. Dig. Verdict. In plain english.

1. Free instant scan

Start with the sixty-second automated audit. It scores your site against local competitors and often answers the "is something wrong" question on the spot, free.

2. The deep dive

We crawl every page, census every image, pull your sitemap’s own timestamps, and walk the Internet Archive’s history of your site. If you have a vendor contract, we audit their scope line by line.

3. The written verdict

A plain-english report: what is working, what is broken, what was paid for but never delivered, and what to do next, in priority order. $497, credited in full if you hire us to fix it.

Straight answers

What owners ask before booking the audit.

What does the audit cost?

$497 flat. If you hire us afterward for a build or a plan, the full amount is credited, so the audit effectively becomes free. If you do not hire us, you still own a report you can act on with anyone.

Do you need my passwords or my SEO company’s cooperation?

No, and that is the point. Everything in the report is gathered from public URLs: your live site, your sitemap, Google’s public testing tools, and the Internet Archive. That means every claim is independently verifiable by a third party, including your vendor.

What if my SEO company is actually doing a good job?

Then the report says so, plainly, and that is worth knowing too. We separate what the evidence shows was delivered from what was not, and we concede the good work in writing. An audit that only finds problems is a sales pitch, not an audit.

Can I use the report in a contract dispute?

The report is written so every finding is reproducible from public URLs, with dates and archive snapshots, and it lists exactly which internal deliverables to demand in writing. It is the evidence file an attorney asks for. We are not lawyers and it is not legal advice, but it has been used to support exactly that conversation.

How is this different from the free audit on your site?

The free audit is an instant automated scan: your score, your Google presence, your review gap, in about a minute. This is a human-led deep dive over several days: page-by-page evidence, archive history, and a written verdict. Start with the free one; it often tells you whether the deep dive is worth it.

I do not have an SEO company. Is this still useful?

Yes. The same sweep runs on your site directly and comes back as a prioritized fix list: what is costing you the most, what it takes to fix, and what to do first. It is the homework we do before any rebuild anyway.
